Madison Maskalunas is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating a wide range of mental health concerns. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University before completing both her nursing education and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training, giving her a strong foundation in both the biological and psychological aspects of mental health.

Madison began her healthcare career as a registered nurse at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where she cared for patients with complex neurological and psychiatric conditions in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. She then transitioned to practicing as an outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care for patients across the lifespan.

Madison believes that exceptional psychiatric care extends beyond prescribing medication. She values building genuine therapeutic relationships, taking time to understand each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Her approach is collaborative, individualized, and rooted in the belief that lasting progress comes from treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis. She views resilience as something that exists within every individual, even during life's most difficult seasons, and strives to help patients recognize and build upon that strength.

She is passionate about integrating current research with thoughtful, personalized treatment plans and is committed to lifelong learning as the field of psychiatry continues to evolve. Madison strives to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey.
