Halloween is around the corner, and we’re opening our doors for an evening of community, good company, and a little bit of spooky fun! There will be light snacks, treats, and seasonal activities for everyone to enjoy. Costumes are encouraged, but not required- whether you dress up or not you’ll fit right in!

We invite you to join us for the celebration of the Summer Solstice at Imagine Healthcare on Thursday, June 20th @ 7pm! Midsummer, as the festival for the solstice is known in Nordic cultures, is a time to celebrate light, warmth, and connect to nature. The origins of Midsummer date back to pagan times, when the people of the North believed that magical creatures roamed the earth on the shortest night of the year. These beliefs, intertwined with agricultural practices, formed the basis of many traditions that are still carried on today. Many celebrations underline the deep connection between people and their environment.

The solstice is honored in a variety of ways, but most celebrations include a bonfire and are outdoors. So, we will be hosting the gathering on the rooftop! As always, there will be yummy nibbles and sips. We’ll be gathering herbs and making smudge sticks as well as learning how to wire wrap gemstones that can be charged by the summer sun.

It will also be a birthday party! Imagine Healthcare opened its doors on Grand Ave three years ago in July. Time has flown by and we are so excited to continue to expand our offerings and care for even more people who are in search of healing.

On this, the longest day of the year, we will celebrate the triumph of light over darkness, the fertility of the earth and the joy of life. We hope you will join us! Family and friends welcome :-)
